The 2015 LAJOC Annual Mystery Topless Run featured 21 jeeps out for a scenic tour from Woodstock to Port Dover on May 16th 2015. Thanks and congratulations go out to Chris and Danielle Kershaw for another flawlessly organized tour of Norfolk County! The tour took LAJOC members out to Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese to sample some award winning cheese curds and other local specialty cheeses; Ramblin’ Road Brewery Farm for their feature potato lager as well as a generously donated healthy and plentiful lunch, Kernel’s Peanuts- did you even know Ontario grew peanuts? And members finished off the day at a wonderful seafood dinner at the Erie Beach Hotel. The rain made a cameo shortly after the jeeps headed out, and presented itself as a legitimate threat by the time lunch rolled around- but it didn’t stick around allowing participants to catch a glimpse of some prime countryside real estate, ginseng and asparagus farms, and a few leaf-canopied un-assumed roads. There was even a little bit of mud to make it look like the jeeps had spent some time off-road and not just crawling pavement all day.
Mark your calendars for the Saturday of May Long weekend for 2016- as the Go Topless Day festivities continue into the charming 3rd installment of LAJOC’s Go Topless Mystery Run continue!!!
Tops off to the Kershaws for the effort and logistics required to make this event a success!
Congratulations & Thanks
